Choose the venue that speaks to you and fits in your budget, but here are our Top 10 Miami Venues that are super unique!   1. Vizcaya: Museum and Gardens

Details about this venue:

Vizcaya is a gorgeous Mediterranean-styled, historical mansion with sprawling gardens. It’s located right on Biscayne Bay, so you can have your event right on the water. This location has the perfect balance of greenery, historical flair, and modern luxury. It can host about 125 of you and your guests, and you can host your event outside in the gardens, or inside the mansion.

Why we love this Miami venue:

This is one of the most beautiful mansions we have ever seen. It really feels like you are stepping back into history. The gardens and architecture are unique, and beautiful. You truly feel like royalty walking through the grounds. And even though it is a historic space, this venue is also conscious about keeping green and even offers tips on how to make your event green on their website!


What you should know about this venue:

Because it is a historical property the rules and regulations are pretty strict so you will need be very clear about what is and isn’t allowed on the property. Additionally, Vizcaya is a public space so you will have to wait until the museum closes before your event can happen which makes set up/load in tricky. This is a venue that definitely requires the support of a Planner. And unlike many Miami venues, you will have to end your party at 1am.

2. Alfred I. Dupont Building

Details about this venue:

This venue is a historical building with stunning details from the 1920s and 1930s. Historically the Alfred DuPont building was the headquarters for the 7th Naval fleet in WWII and is now a national historic landmark. The space has multiple spaces to host your event up to 550 guests. It’s styled with original metallic grates, a hand painted ceiling, and black and white checkered floors.

Why we love this Miami venue:

You can order cocktails from a bank teller window and take photos in a bank vault! The history, architecture, and metallic grates make this a truly unique and fierce space to host an event.


What you should know about this venue:

This building is in the middle of Downtown Miami so parking is extremely tricky and valet is a must. The venue is tucked away next to other storefronts and busy Miami streets.

3. The Bath Club

Details about this venue:

Once a luxurious private membership clubhouse in the 1920’s, the Bath Club has been reimagined by Antrobus & Ramirez, and is now an elegant, Mediterranean style club, surrounded by a private beach. It has multiple event spaces at the location, including three areas to grab drinks or snacks, a pool, private spa, tennis, and their biggest space the grand ballroom can hold 400 guests.

Why we love this Miami venue:

There are different spaces you can host your event on site, and each room has a distinct personality with pops of color. One of our favorite event spaces at the Bath Club is the Parlor. It’s a comfortable, relaxing space with pink curtains, a brick fireplace, and wooden chairs with blue cushions. A space like this is begging for themed tea part! We also LOVE that you can host your ceremony on their private beach!


What you should know about this venue:

This is a private members only club so in order to host an event here you will need to buy-out the space.

4. The Villa: Casa Casuarina

Details about this venue:

AKA The Versace Mansion! The designer Versace himself designed it and lived in it until he died. It’s a Mediterranean themed venue with a gorgeous mosaic pool, two private lounges, and ten hotel rooms for you and a few of your guests to stay. Even the hotel rooms feel like you’re staying a night at the Palace of Versailles. When it’s not housing events, it’s Gianni’s restaurant, and can hold up to 250 guests.


Why we love this Miami venue:

Um, Versace!!! Just imagine saying your vows in front of a gorgeous mosaic pool front that feels like a crystal lake. The architecture, and all the tiles give it so much texture. The multipurpose, and multi-functioning elements of this space really make an Event Planner fall in love.


What you should know about this venue:

Because this venue is a restaurant by day you will need to buy out the entire space to host an event. If you are having an elaborate set up in the space you will be required to buy out the space the day before and the day after the event as well.

5. The Curtiss Mansion

Details about this venue:

The Curtiss Mansion is a Historical Mansion owned by Glen Curtiss, the “Father of Aviation”. The space has unique architecture, and also a lovely tropical garden for those who want both a garden and mansion for their wedding. Holds up to 250 guests.

Why we love this Miami venue:

You’re in a mansion one second and then gardens the next. The gardens feature a gorgeous grove of trees, a stone arch intertwined with tree roots, and even a romantic bridge to share vows by. There are several locations you can host your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. You can design your event in your own unique way according to your vision and goals. Our favorite feature of the venue is the canopy of trees across from the mansion. It’s next to the parking lot but it is totally hidden by the gorgeous forest. It feels like you’re not in even in the city anymore!


What you should know about this venue:

Because Glenn Curtis was the “Father of Aviation”, and also established Miami Springs, the venue is not super far from the Miami airport in Miami Springs, so don’t be surprised if there are tons of airplanes flying over.

6. Faena: Miami Beach

Details about this venue:

Faena Miami Beach is a boutique hotel based from a company in Argentina. Faena Miami Beach also has it’s own theater (with a fierce cabaret show that we adore), restaurants, and boutique shops. Artistic elements throughout the venue make it stand out from all the rest. Everything has a unique twist and flavor. You can even sign up for an exclusive BBQ on the beach they host each Sunday.

Why we love this Miami venue:

Such a fun unique character! I mean, they have a golden fossil of a woolly mammoth at their hotel! We are also a company that is made up of actors, and artists so the fact they have their own theater is such a big grab for us! You can really dare to be different at this space.

What you should know about this venue:

This venue is a hotel so you will need to work with their preferred vendors and in-house catering. This hotel is in the very busy Miami Beach area where there is currently a lot of construction.

7. The Confidante Hotel

Details about this venue:

This venue is a hotel with a bright, retro glam feel, right on the beach. You are welcomed in the lobby by a rotating art gallery of local Miami artists, and art deco furniture. The space really captures the retro glam vibes of Miami featuring a mixture of 1930s glam and 1970s funk.

Why we love this Miami venue:

We love all of the different patterns, textures and design at this boutique and unique hotel. The bar is right by the pool, which allows for easy refreshments while relaxing, or grabbing sun. They also love to support local art in the lobby and partner with local vendors such as Pink Pie, Cielito Artisan Pops, and Miami Cocktail Co to refresh guests. You can get married on the beach or better yet on their private terrace with a retractable roof (thank you rain plan) that overlooks the ocean. There is even a house from the 1930s that they had crated into the venue where you can host rehearsal dinners and dance parties.


What you should know about this venue:

Although you can get married on the beach keep in mind that it is still a public beach on Miami Beach and the hotel staff can only do so much to keep it private! You can party here till 4am but it has to stay inside!

8. Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM)

Details about this venue:

PAMM is a contemporary art museum in Miami that focuses on the Miami community and culture. The museum itself has multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces. The museum includes views of Biscayne Bay, and the one of the outdoor spaces includes greenery cascading from the ceiling. They can hold up to 500 guests.

Why we love this Miami venue:

Talk about photo opportunities for your first look and wedding party photos! The museum holds some amazing pieces of art with a complimentary 2 hr Museum access just for photos. The newly weds get a yearlong membership! This venue is perfect for the couple with an artistic sensibility.


What you should know about this venue:

This is a public museum so you will need to wait to host your event until guests of the museum leave. There is a very tight turnaround for set up and load in!

9. Miami Beach Botanical Gardens

Details about this venue:

There is nothing more beautiful than a green garden for wedding pictures. The Miami Beach botanical gardens is filled with different types of gardens, each with their own lovely ponds, fountains, and diverse plant/animal life. One of the gardens is a Japanese garden, filled with bamboo, a cascading koi pond, an iconic red bridge, and lanterns. The Garden can hold up to 150, depending on the space.

Why we love this Miami venue:

It really feels like a hidden oasis in the middle of Miami Beach, and each garden feels like you’re stepping into a different world. One of the iconic places to share your vows is on a canopied terrace facing an 100 year old tree planted by Carl Fisher.


What you should know about this venue:

Because it’s a public garden, depending on the time of your event you might not get 100% privacy!

10. The Cruz Building

Details about this venue:

This is a three storied building filled with soaring atrium ceilings, stained-glass windows, a grand marble staircases, European and French/New Orleans architectural antiques, ornate interior balconies and sweeping outdoor terraces, and everything is illuminated by gas flame lanterns and antique crystal chandeliers.

Why we love this Miami venue:

There is something unique on every floor, and around every corner. There are bars on every floor, a glass elevator, and has green rooms for the wedding party to get dressed in…with showers! There is even an outdoor rooftop terrace where guests can enjoy cocktails!


What you should know about this venue:

This venue is in the popular Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami so there is limited parking. Valet is a must!
