Rin and Lindsay's Succulent LGBTQ+ Wedding
Rin (they/she) and Lindsay (she/they) were supposed to get married during the pandemic, but instead of cancelling, they postponed their big celebration to 2021 and had a smaller elopement at Big Delicious Planet! Their wedding was filled with gorgeous flowers and succulents from Leelee’s Garden—The couple even supported the succulents as accessories: Rin wearing a succulent neckpiece and Lindsay in her hair. Using live streaming services from Cage and Aquarium, they were able to share their special moment with even more loved ones.
What was Fierce about this wedding:
Honestly, so many things were fierce about this wedding. Rin and Lindsay wanted to create their own traditions, and memories! They had such wonderful ideas. For example, they made their own twist on the sand pouring tradition by using rainbow sugar instead to show their intermingling love, and as an homage to LGBTQ+ pride. They plan to make a cake with the sugar in the future. They also wanted to save engagement rings for the big celebration in 2021, so they shared succulent bracelets instead. We are so excited to work with the couple again this year for the bigger celebration!!
