Connar and Mike's Modern Whimsical Wedding

When Connar hired us for her wedding, we were ecstatic! Connar has been a Fierce Team Member almost from the very beginning, so we knew we had to make her wedding excellent. Connar met Mike back in college when they were in a theatre show together. As theatrical artists, we knew their wedding was going to be unique. When they reached out to us, they had a limited vision, but knew they wanted it to be a perfect combination of the two of them.

“I would love there to be a fun way to mesh Mike and I's vibes. I'm very colorful, bright, playful, child at heart. He's very fashion forward, pattern, modern. I'm a lot of bright pink, he's a lot of blue.”

After some discussions, we came up with a fun blend of the two. To represent Connar, we had pops of pinks, mismatched table centers, and had some whimsical design in the floral arrangements. To represent Mike, we had darker blues, and golden geometric shapes. As a bonus, the couple wanted the ceremony to feel romantic, with the reception shifting to party vibes. For the ceremony, we had the perfect diamond arch from Atmosphere Events Group decorated with lush flowers to keep the space elegant. Once it was time to flip the room for the reception, a neon sign was added, the head table had sparkle linens, and pink up-lights were placed around the room! Beyond those design elements, the couple also included some minor personal details like Dungeons and Dragon minis, and a Theatre Playbill Board as a program.

The vendor team did a magical job at blending the two together. LM Studios was the perfect venue with its elegant, and quirky decor. Atmosphere Events captured the floral colors, and whimsical arrangements. The sparkle linens from BBJ were a highlight, and all the guests were out on the dance floor the whole night!

Fierce Moments:

They had a post rehearsal dinner karaoke jam out session! It was something they love doing together, and it was also the perfect way to “ease” guests into the party celebrations.
They had a choreographed first dance, and choreographed father & daughter dance.
They shared a dance with their in-laws: A father in-law dance, and mother in-law dance.
Instead of classical cake toppers, they had customized D&D minis to top their cake.
