How to Make your Holiday FIERCE
Step 1: Be Creative!
When decorating and setting the table for your feast, consider using flowers, fabric, fruit and vegetables to create a colorful, festive tablescape that your guests will awe at!
Start with a color palette! What are your favorite Holiday colors? Think out of the box! Consider the color of your table, your china and your glassware! We love this color palette that we designed for our upcoming Thanksgiving dinner.
Think about the kind of centerpiece you want to create. Is it a collection of fun pumpkins you found at the farmer's market? Is it a piece of fabric you got from the store that you use as a table runner?
If you want to use flowers first pick out the type of vase you want to use. Is it a collection of bud vases or that antique vase your grandma gave you?
Go to your favorite local flower shop like woman owned Cornell Florist in Hyde Park and pick out greenery and blooms that work within your colors. Ask them to cut and arrange the pieces that work with your vases if you aren't sure how to do this yourself! Make sure to bring one of the vases in as a sample.

Step Two: Laugh and Play!

Step Three: Treat Yourself!
Pick 1 dish that you absolutely love to cook or bake with a friend or your honey and cater the rest! You can cater food from your favorite local restaurant and serve it yourself or have a full service team like one of our favorite woman-owned caterers like Fig Catering.
